Md. Rain Man Raja is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur. He upholds the principles of honesty, diligence, and faith in Allah as guiding values for success in both this life and the hereafter. Before his current position, he served as a Lecturer in the same department and institution. Mr. Raja completed his Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from The University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2022, specializing in Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) using Electromagnetic (EM) Waves and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with honors from DUET on June 15, 2014, and subsequently joined the university as a Lecturer in early 2015. In recognition of his outstanding academic achievements, he was awarded the Prime Minister Gold Medal by the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the University Gold Medal by the Honorable President and Chancellor of Bangladesh. Mr. Raja is originally from the Jamalpur District in the Mymensingh Division and has a keen interest in traveling, programming, reading, and cinema. His ultimate aspiration is to contribute meaningfully to academia and research, striving to be both a dedicated scholar and a responsible academician in service to his university and the nation.
